changing the plays....?
liked the movie a lot, not banging on it. actually did a pretty good job at attempting to capture some of the real life situations in the nfl which is pretty hard to do and not come across as totally over the top or corny. but the willy beamin changing the plays thing is a little ridiculous. if the qb ever changed even one play in the huddle, not an audible, but an actual play he'd be gone the next day. maybe not an elite guy, but def. a rookie, whether he scored on the play or not. one time when jeff george was with the skins he kind of changed the play, or audibled out of a run without telling anyone on the field except the receiver he threw a fade to, i cant exactly remember but they were talking about it on nfl network. he didnt play after that and it sealed his fate in the league even though his health was fine and he could still throw it through a wall. anyone ever hear of a qb changing the plays? just wondering
