Pacino's speech now in Jeep commercial

It's pretty cool, but not sure it really fits for a car commercial. Gatorade or Nike would have made way more sense.

There seems to be a fair-sized group that wants this film to be considered some kind of classic. Maybe it's Pacino's over-the-top performance. Maybe it's his ponderous, cornfed lines, now used to shill for Jeep. Maybe the film's proponents are just too young to remember and appreciate such similar 'classics' as 'Air Bud: Golden Receiver', 'The Waterboy', and of course, 'The Garbage Picking Field Goal Kicking Philadelphia Phenomenon'. It's a shame that each generation of filmgoers these days must erase the glorious past in order to legitimise their equally-glorious present.
