Beautiful editing / style

I was sad to see Ebert and others criticized the editing in this film. It was so unique and different that it really made an impression in me.

The scene where Willie and coach and talking at Pacino's house. Random shots of clouds edited in Over the scene. Strangely appropriate.

The scene where the maid closes the blinds when Pacino is talking to Ann margaret

The inserting of old football footage / pics.

It all just flows seamlessly. Bravo to Stone.

You're not the only one who noticed the editing above all else, it's just the world of message boarding is bizarrely comprised of followers. To timid to voice a unique opinion.

It's the FIRST thing that I noticed which made this movie actually matter. It wasn't the star studded cast, or the wanting screen play..I've never seen a sport shot and edited with such intense emotion. The editing is what made this film without question.
