Ben Hur?

Is there a connection between showing clips of Ben Hur and the casting of Charlton Heston as the league commissioner?

reply

Gee, I wonder.

You can't patronize your captain! That's a sea law!

In the Ben Hur scenes he had his own hair, where as in the later scenes he bought it from a shop!

Its that man again!!

I thought the strange thing was that we see the chariot race and a little later on a scene when Ben Hur is a slave in the Roman Warship. In the movie the scenes are not in that order.

I think the idea was simply show the clip that was relevant to the subtext it was there to prop up.

Condescending rubbish. Subtext shouldn't need clips running underneath it to explain the connection. Athletes as slaves, athletes as gladiators, we get it!

Very grateful and honored for that.
