Knight's uniforms

Wow... All I can say is wow. I was flipping through channels and caught a couple of minutes of this movie. Who on earth thought the Knight's uniforms were cool? The colors? Red with a babysh!t mustard/gold?! The ankh around their necks? Did anybody speak up at the production meetings about this horrible, horrible design?

Is it just me, or do most movie football teams usually have the worst designs and color combos?

reply

Wanna see a bad color scheme? Watch an Oregon Ducks football game. Those yellow and green combos make it look like Walt Disney threw up all over the football field!

Call me crazy, but I actually liked the Knights' uniforms. I had never seen a football uniform like it before, and I thought the design looked pretty good--although I agree with you that the color scheme with mustard yellow was a mistake.

It is the same exact color scheme and iconography of the tabard and banner of an english monarch during one of the christian crusades. I don't remember which one though and I can't really be arsed to look it up.

reply

Yeah, noticed that. Expected the Dallas team to board a bus and get their asses on a plane to Palestine right after the game.

They were strange. They looked cheap and antiquated.

Also during that match, the stadium seemed far too small for an NFL-equivalent league. While the league depicted in the film is NOT the NFL (due, I believe, to their non-cooperation and unwillingness to endorse the film) it's meant to be a league of identical size and stature.

The whole colour scheme of this film was messed up. I have a DVD copy and it just looks horrible.
