The late Georgia Frontiere owned the St. Louis Rams, until her death in 2008. She inherited her ownership of the Rams, upon the death of her husband, Carroll Rosenbloom (who has been the Rams owner) in 1979.

Martha Ford now owns the Detroit Lions, after her husband William Clay Ford died two years ago. Even though she is really old, she active with the team, and was seen in the war room during the draft.
