which version is the best?

I had the traditional DVD labelled as the directors cut which I'm told is actually shorter.

I believe the theatrical version is only available as part of the Oliver Stone collection?

Is the blu ray the same as the directors cut DVD or does it have extra scenes?

The new blu-ray has both cuts of the film on it.
