So who ratted out christina pagniacci to the commissioner?

Only thing i cant figure out is who ratted out Christina to the Commissioner about a possible move to LA. During the last game he tells her there was a concern about moves that were made on her behalf about another LA franchise.

Earlier in the movie the only one she talked about LA with was that old assistant guy whos always hanging around. I mean its not a huge plot point but it seems like a pretty strong scene. Are we supposed to think Tony wanted revenge and said something? I did notice right after that scene shes looking around at everyone like she didnt know who to trust, but then she went and had a heart to heart with her mother. Did she maybe think her mother said something?

reply

It wasn't Tony, not his style

Certainly not the mother, she may have lost everything to the sport but she had a good life

Not the old guy, and I don't know what position he held

Negotiations like that take on a life of their own, someone tells someone what they heard, etc. etc,

In a world where a carpenter can be resurrected, anything is possible.

could it be James Woods character? He got fired for doing what she told him to.

I honestly thought it was the Mayor of Miami because she threatened to move the team to LA

reply

You are correct

I agree. The Mayor. I guess one team in town wasn't good enough for him.
