vs 'The Missiles of October'
In "Thirteen Days" the stress is on JFK's relationship with a Joint Chiefs of Staff bent on circumventing the chain of command. I felt "The Missiles of October" concentrated more on the Soviets and their underlying intentions.
Both, I feel, give a reasonably factual depiction of what actually transpired. It could be said though - since it was made at a time when US/Russian relations were more problematic - that "The Missiles of October" had a small slice of propaganda within it. Still, IMHO, it was the superior depiction.
"What's wrong with a little good, clean violence?"
