I find it bizarre that Megan was cast as May Britt instead of Marilyn. I personally find Megan stunning enough to play Marilyn Munroe.

She's also way, way, way too petite. One of Marilyn's trademarks was her curvy figure and let's face it, while Megan is beautiful, she didn't even come close to the right body type.

I think that she play Mae Britt just fine...I couldn't really see her as Marilyn though...then again, I never think any rendition of Marilyn does her any justice whatsoever...and the chick in the movie playing her was too old and fake looking imo...plus I felt like she was playing the Marilyn Stereotype and not the real thing...

Britt was as stunning as Monroe. The producers apparently felt Dodds was sufficiently stunning to play her.
