I agree on Don Cheadle, if this had been a Hollywood production, I think he would have deserved at least a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Sammy Davis Jr. Other than that, am I the only one who noticed that the plaque that "Frank" was trying to destroy toward the end had the wrong year on it? Since Kennedy was sworn in on January 20, 1961, the plaque should have said 1963 for the year he should have stayed in Franks place, instead it said 1960!!!

I enjoyed the movie too. Well acted. I'm old enough to remember all these events well. I just watched it again last night with family. All enjoyed it.

Cheadle did indeed win a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Davis...

to chatroux13: I always thought the same thing until watching it again recently. The plaque that Frank puts up is to commemorate the first time JFK stayed there in 1960, as shown in the movie. So the timing and what the plaque says is correct. It's possible Frank would have put up a different plaque after the trip they were planning and why he was adding on to the property but he still could claim that JFK had slept there before.

Agreed Its excellent acting. I never feel like I'm watching actors play characters. I feel like I'm watching a documentary. I love this movie. I so wish I could've been around during this era in Vegas.

It's a great film. It's impossible for famous people to play famous people, but they totally pulled it off. The actors got the vibe of their characters right without doing a weak impression. This is just one on an endless list of great movies made by HBO.
