A few thoughts about this film

I got the feeling that the Rat Pack was a strange group of friends. . . .Sinatra was the king, and the rest of them were his minions. Dean Martin seemed to be the most adjusted to this, not taking Sinatra too seriously. Peter Lawford was used horribly, and Joey Bishop was like an extra limb and almost useless. The only one who had any real, real talent was Sammy Davis, Jr. He could sing, play drums and trumpet (and maybe more), seemed to have a knowledge of music theory, tap danced, and had a great personality, but unfortunately was not well treated.

The end of the film was a bit vague. . Sinatra still pining over Ava Gardner, who didn't put up with his sh*t.

This was a very revealing film and I thought it was very well done,
