I mean comfortable enough to let them sit in with you when you're in the bath. I mean if he's not looking at you in a sexual way then it's right? or is it? Ladies, discuss...
No, I never ran into that with any of my gay guy friends. I wouldn't have invited any straight girl friend either. I think it's just Neve's character who is so open in general. She was an artist, after all, and we all know how "open-minded" they are, right? ;)
As someone who has a lot of gay friends, I am much more comfortable being in such situations with them than I am with a straight man. Even if they take a peek, it's not going to have the same effect, is it?
Go take a step outside - see what’s shaking in the real world.
Women see gay men as, essentially, girls. So if they are comfortable with a female friend sitting the bathroom with them, they'll be comfortable with a gay guy
I wouldn't care about removing my shirt, for example, if I was in a room with girls or gay guys, but I definitely would not get changed in a room containing a straight guy unless there was some sort of vision barrier.
The way the girls were acting with Oscar at the sleepover was completely realistic. Although, to be fair, I known straight guys who have sufficient feminine understanding that we would have that sort of discussion with them. Most definitely not all, though.
I'm anespeptic, frasmotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericumbobulations...
Her comfort level increased as the movie went on. At the beginning of the movie, right after she found out Oscar was spying, they went back to Amy's apartment and she was going to get in the shower and she seemed offended because he seemed to be staring at her so she told him to go on.
And then during the bath scene, she was covered up by the bubbles so it wasn't a typical bath and he wasn't able to see anything but she was still more comfortable in that scene than the scene I mentioned earlier.
Finally, at the end of the bath scene, she had him turn around as she got out of the tub and got dressed which shows that wasn't comfortable letting him see her naked.
