So, what exactly happened to Moore, I don't think its really explained although we are led to believe that Kent went round and killed him. Does anyone know?

I thought Moore shot himself out of guilt because he left her staked out there. Did I miss something?

In the scene where they go into his house and find him dead, there is a track playing in the background. What song is this? Is it in the soundtrack?

When Brenner realizes that Kent in fact killed Captain Campbell, he flashes back through all of times Kent was pretending to be surprised, they show him when they found Moore dead, implying that he'd killed Moore.

Kent then tells Brenner he thought the murder would have been pinned on Moore, but had forgotten how persistent Brenner was.

In short, yes, Kent killed him.

yeah that should have been pretty obvious, i think.
besides, his "gay-boyfriend" says it too: moore could never do that to himself
