For those who are fans of DeMille's work, I was wondering what you would think of a John Corey Film. Plum Island would be great, and even The Lion's Game (if they did it in a respectful manner, of course). Personally, I would love to see Plum turned into a film, and think that, with the right cast, it could be an excellent film, and even have the smart-ass tone of the protagonist.

Michael Madsen for Franc - he is half italian if I am not mistaken, he was playing
a mob-boss i9n Donnie Brasco, I think he could do.
The guy who plays Sonny Red (Robert Miano) would be great as Feragammo.
Unfortunately I doubt that "the lion's game" has any chance to be filmed after 9/11. To be honest I think Travolta was awful as Brener. James Woods was great, if qoute different than th eoriginal col. Moore.

i think the obvious choice for john corey would be George Clooney.
but, i know they wont make lion's game into a movie.
And they should make a Gold Coast movie, with Matt Damon as John Sutter, and
Robert DeNiro as Frank Bellarosa, but they won't:(
They might make DeMilles new one 'project Wildfire'.
They wont make Nightfall or Lions Game however.
I'd like to see Plum Island as a film with Jason Patric as John Corey,Kevin Bacon as Fredric Tobin,maybe Kate Winslett as Beth Penrose and Elliot Read out of Scrubs(dont know her real name,sorry) as Emma Whitestone
