it has been a long time since i have seen this movie but i think i remember something about the begining of the movie being shot in savannah ga if this is true please someone let me know because i was born in savannah ga back in 84.
shareI, too spent some time in Savannah (5 years; 1989-1994) and yes, the movie was filmed partly in Savannah. You should recognize the entrance to the base (under the arch and down the road lined on both sides with Spanish Moss Oak trees) as the entrance to Wormsloe Plantation - a historical site/remnant of an old cotton plantation.
