Did anyone hear that Paramount purchased the film rights to "Up Country", the sequel to The General's Daughter. I've heard they're negotiating with John Travolta to reprise the role of Brenner, but none of his fan sites......or this site, mention anything about Travolta coming back. Has anyone heard anything??
shareWell, I don't think it is going to come out, as it is already 2007. I definitely watch it if it came out though. I really enjoyed the book.
shareI dont know, the book didnt have a great ending given all that it built up 2. I think Carla Cugino would b great as the CIA operative that works w him tho and Id love to see the Vietnam flashback scenes
shareI'm okay with Travolta being in it. I'd prefer a complete purge of the crew - particulary script writer, director and producer. These guys trashed DeMille's book (even though he was on set...they must have got him drunk or something...)
Up Country is a great book.
