share'She began to lie' - Christine & Katherine Shipp,
check out the soundtrack listing.
I was captured by the song you mention in your question when i saw the movie.
I´ve found the song on an EP on iTunes wich includes two other songs from that movie. The title of the album is "Now there is a tree of ghosts" and the artists name Greg Hale Jones"
Correction and completition to my previous posting. Greg Hale Jones was a film and TV composer who sadly passed away last year. Learn and listen more on the following link http://www.gregjones.com.

It's okay, honey. I...I was just talking to the cornfield.
i've been digging that song since i first saw the movie, and it still holds me. can you direct me to a translation of the lyrics?
"we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams..."
The song is one of my favorites too and is called "SEA LION WOMAN" by Christine and Katherine Shipp. This is reliable as it appears on the closing credits and can be downloaded from the internet.
sharethank you much. "sea lion woman" was a lot more useful than "she began to lie," in the Searching For Lyrics Department.
i was halfway ready to apologize for asking for a translation of the lyrics, but now that i have them printed out in my hand, and i'm comparing them to the actual song, it still only sounds like plain english to someone who reeeeeeallly likes the song a lot.
thanks for the help again.
"we are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams..."
that song is a remake of an old Nina Simone song, See Line Woman (not Sea Lion Woman). Personally I like her version better, but my husband likes the one from the movie. Check her out on I-Tunes.
shareI wanna know the title of the classic song that's playing on the rape scene. Please email me at [email protected] Thanks.
shareHi,
the beautiful melody during the scene you're talking about is part of the original score by Carter Burwell and it is called "Exercise in Darkness". Really impressive how such a haunting melody can be paired with such a brutal scene. Makes you feel even more sorry for Liz's fate.
Merry Christmas... :)
