Maybe when he found out this movie won't be releasing in the cinemas (This movie was direct-to-video), he got turned off and said no.

i think he realised it was a load of tosh when he read the script! his careers not great at the mo so if they did a proper sequal- where he & poca got together & it was realeased at cinemas i think he'd be game.

i still like his voice better as john smith than his brother's. that small detail ruined the movie for me, along with many other things...
