Very good film, but tough watch
A corrupt cop is a very bad thing to see.
However, one cannot discount how brutal and dangerous it is out there on the streets.
I sort of feel the same way, though I haven't watched the film in years. The only relief I got was when the young girl calls her brother or cousin and spoke about the attempted rape she experienced -- vindicating Hawks' character. But, I'm sure that was the point.
