I want to watch it but I dislike musicals... should i bother?

It's like TOY STORY and TARZAN. Except for one song that's sung by the characters, there are some montages where a song (that comments on the scene) is played (in the background). Since those songs are original compositions and they're played in their entirety, it counts as a musical, but not the traditional type.
