Aspect ratio?
I seriously doubt this was made in 2.35:1 as listed. I think it was most likely shot standard Academy Ratio or at most 1.66. What is the source of this claim?
shareI've seen this hideous so-called film far too many times to recount and you are definitely right, Kabumpo - it's very obviously NOT shot in anything even close to an anamorphic ratio. The source for the claim that it is clearly comes from that warped subset of cinephiles who obsessively believe that ANY movie of note MUST be shot in 'scope, regardless of any and all evidence to the contrary. (It took me FOREVER to get this site to correct the totally wrong information that Robert Aldrich's "Sodom & Gomorrah" was filmed anamorphically.) Time to get to work on correcting this one too, I guess...
