Why is he called the Ice Cream Bunny ?

I'm a Cinemajunkie !

Why is he called the Ice cream Bunny ? The character obviously isnt made of Ice Cream ?

I don't get it ?

reply

Lol the only thing my brother and I could come up with is that maybe he uses that truck to deliver ice cream. Sometimes. But obviously not on the day of the film. :P Yeah I was assuming that it was going to be a bunny made of ice cream when I heard the title.

Of course the bigger question really is, why put the Bunny in the title at all? The *dog* was more important than the friggin' Bunny. How long was he on screen anyways? Three minutes? Four? :D Like I said elsewhere, the title of this movie *should* have been "Santa Tells Some Kids the Story of Thumbelina For No Real Good Reason Other Than to Hawk Some Amusement Park In Florida and Then This Dude In a Really Scary Bunny Suit Who Has Nothing Whatsoever To Do With Ice Cream Shows Up At the Very Very End."

Did you notice that it looked like the truck got stuck in the big mud puddle,
when the dog ran towards the truck and started barking ?

I kind of found it interesting that the dog appeared to be really
aggressive towards the guy in the rabbits suit.

I think animals can sense things about people.

I wonder if the guy in the costume was a predator ?

We get the point. You're a cinema junkie.

There's no need to remind us at the start of every single post. Trust me, we catch on fairly quick. We don't need to be reminded.

Some people put there quote at the bottom.
For some reason this thing goofed and put mine at the top.

Yeah it was a big advert for Pirate Land right? That's pretty much the point of even making it?

well it makes for a great title.

everybody loves ice cream.

I wondered why they didn't call it the Easter Bunny but then I figured it out. He had the bunny costume already but he didn't call it the easter bunny because that would confuse the kids, mixing fake religious holiday characters and stuff. So since the bunny was white and probably handed out Ice cream at the park, he was called the Ice Cream Bunny. Or maybe that was just the mascots name at the park. It's not like they put a lot of thought into this movie.

I think it's likely that the Ice Cream Bunny was a Pirate World character.

Seems reasonable enough, but then again using the word "reason" in any sentence involving this movie is utterly foolish. My theory so far has been that he's a corporate mascot for some local ice cream company that only exists (or did exist at the time) in the Miami-Dade-Fort Lauderdale-Palm Beach area.

I don't have any evidence to back up my theory, but you pointed out that they really didn't put a lot of thought into this movie.

Before I watch it I expected him to be a rabbit driving an Ice Cream truck hinting his name. Sadly not once was he shown passing out ice cream in the film.
