One of Connery's last acting roles.

Who would have guessed back in 1999 after first viewing Entrapment and seeing how healthy and vigorous Sean Connery looked for a man his age, that his acting career would soon end, and he would only appear in two more films over the next 4 years, and then nothing (voice work does not count).

1999 - Entrapment
2000 - Finding Forrester
2003 - The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Most aging actors "quit" because the roles dry up, that would not have been the reason with Sean Connery.

I think he wanted to go out when he was still a head-lining star on his own terms. Gene Hackman did much the same thing. Very dignified IMO!

LXG was not a happy experience for Sean and is one of the factors why he called it quits.

Its that man again!!
