Serious situations came way too fast in series run
Been catching up on the show. Finished season two.
Great show and the cast has great spark. I forgot how good a show it was. But they really made them grow up way too fast. I believe this is why rating probably started to decline....
It was so much more fun when they were shown as younger/just looking to date. Collage kids almost. Now swinging into serious ground in SE2. Love, moving in, taking care of kids, proposals....
Much too fast character development for just two seasons. I think they should have stayed the course they had in the first season. May have had a better run. Season one was really fun and light.
They still play off each other very well in season two and its funny as hell... Just less fun IMO. And If I recall from memory it gets even more serious "soap opera drama" next season....
Don't get me wrong, a show needs to change naturally. But I really noticed how fast this one moved along when watching 2 seasons over a week or so.
