Why... QUESTION - INVOLVES SPOILERS

I'm just watching the first season for the first time.. and Pete/Melissa broke up in Episode 5 or 6. When she tried to move into the apartment next to him. He followed that with a 1 episode relationship with Laura.

My question now is... why in the 8th episode (Two Guys, A Girl, and a Party) does Melissa come to Pete's "Birthday Party" and kisses him. Were the episodes originally aired out of order? Or what is going on..

The epiodes you're asking about did not air out of order... Pete and Melissa ended up getting back together very briefly an episode or 2 after the "Birthday Part" episode. Hope this helps!

Melissa is wrong. The Episodes did originally air out of order.

Do you happen to know the production order of Season 2? I'm working my way through it right now, and the continuity (or lack thereof) is just bizarre.
