I gave How I Met Your Mother a shot a couple days ago and it really reminded me of this show, so rewatched it again.
I completely forgot how much I absolutely hate Ashley, seriously, she just irritates me so much. It makes no sense that they hang around with her at all.
Indeed. I've been rewatching the show over the last few weeks and even though I absolutely love Berg, it makes me cringe every time he let's Ashley do what she wants.
Like in season 3, I just watched episode 1 and Ashley just completely alters his appartment against his wishes and he let her get away with it. The *beep*
If I remember correctly, Berg is going to be a much bigger wuss during the rest of the season and season 4, with that Germ-kid or something and Irene. I'm doubting to continue watching the show because of it.
That is my least favorite episode I hate watching it because no one really stands up to her and when they do its written so she is still around them. I dont know anyone who would want to hang out with her.

I've always loved Ashley because she is the kind of character you DON'T see on TV. Completely sarcastic with an extreme superiority complex to the point where she is plain rude to everyone. She's unique in a world of TV show clones. And the funny thing is, a lot of us have friends just like her and we choose to ignore the way they act because we've bonded with them in some way that everyone else didnt see. I will admit that the initial transition post-Berg was awkwardly handled, but a number of episodes past that it leveled out.

I guess it's all just opinion but she does make the show hard to watch. Maybe it's just that I wouldn't ever put up with her *beep* let alone let any of my friends put up with someone like that.
