Season 1 is being released on dvd in the UK but not the US...

for some reason fox isn't releasing the dvd revelation films is, so it's uncertain whether or not it will ever be released on region 1! If it doesn't get released in the US, you can buy it on import so its not all bad.

....April 12th can't get here fast enough....

Cool info. A region-free DVD player is a wise investment. Amazon.com/uk has US television shows MUCH cheaper (West Wing, ER, etc...) than Amazon.com does. I've ordered from them probably 5 times now, and it usually goes off without a hitch. You just have to wait a bit to receiver your order (or pay a ton of $$ and get it quick).

My only concern with ordering S1 would be that they don't release subsequent seasons (due to low sales #'s or something). I've had that happen with different shows, and it's very frustrating.

hey, i have been in contact with revelation films about releasing the other 3. They said they are planning to release 1 every 3 months...so it's all good! Also as i'm in the uk i've imported a few tv from america like the loop, reaper and the war at home and took like a week to come! So yeah hope i've been helpful! :)

This is terrific news. I was reluctant to order season 1 in case Revelation decides against releasing the remaining seasons (and in my opinion, Season 1 was the weakest) but now I'm going ahead with it. Why on earth Fox is refusing to release the show in the U.S. is completely baffling given how popular Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion are.

Looks like Revelation is as good as it's word. Season 2, 3 AND 4 are all up for pre-ordering on Amazon UK as well. Season 2 is coming out in July, Season 3 in October and 4 in November! These guys are pretty awesome committing themselves to releasing the entire series even before the first season has hit the store shelves (or in this case, the Internet retailer's shelves). If only companies here in the US were as committed to finishing the release of multi-season shows instead of abandoning them when subsequent seasons don't live up to their sales expectations.

Any plans for these to be released on Blu-Ray? They could fit it all in one set, and region wouldn't be an issue.
