Growing up as a 20something in the 90's,

This is the 20 something show of the 90s. Compared to the 30 something show of Friends. We used to sit around the off campus apartment while in college laughing our asses off during this show, whereas Friends, and Seinfeld, were boring and monotonous. Along with Wings, I have a hard time believing this show was only only for 3 or 4 years. If we weren't playing Goldeneye, watching X-Files, watching football, or out partying, this is about the only show we watched.

reply

What do you mean? The characters in Friends were 25-28 when the show first started, it turned into a 30-something show because it lasted 10(!) seasons. Friends (and even Seinfeld) was anything but boring and monotonous. No offense, but this show was godawful! And are the fans just so insecure that they always have to diss Seinfeld and Friends, or is it because the show is so clearly a rip-off of those two?

reply

I watched the show and really liked it. I don't feel it was a ripoff of Seinfeld or Friends, though. I guess you could vaguely compare it to Seinfeld because Sharon was the lone female with guys, just like Elaine was on the other show. But beyond that and being a comedy, I don't find them all that similar.

On a side note, I wish this show were available on region 1 DVD. My fandom of Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion began with this show.

reply

you can get a region free player and you can import the complete series from Amazon UK when it comes out officially in a few weeks; all in all it will run you about 70-80 bucks.

I saw a rerun and decided to check out the board. And I made one comment, that's hardly "talking about it".

I came back to talk about my post.

AGAIN, I talked about my post. You really have to pay attention.

And I didn't say I NEVER talked about it, I said that making one comment is HARDLY talking about it. Besides, I'm not the one who said people shouldn't talk about things they don't like. This is not a fan board, but a discussion board. In real life people discuss things they don't like ALL the time.

I believe this is called "irony". You should look that up

Seems to me you're the one who should look it up, because you have no idea what it means.

I'm actually a girl who NEVER said that she never talks about this show.

You probably SHOULD read my post so you don't make a fool of yourself.

Again, never said I never talked about the show. I actually quite like talking about things I dislike, so I could go on and on talking about this show.

It's clear you're the one acting like a moron here. You obviously didn't like my post, but you just keep coming back to talk about it.

reply

ur stupid

reply

You can't even spell, so you are the one that's stupid.

You are waaaaaay too emotional to be on imdb.

Haha, look who's talking. You're crying because someone doesn't like this show.

reply

Dude, didn't you blow up a few years ago?

You're resorting to troll tactics in an attempt to save face, I see.

I only made one post about the show. But YOU sure post a lot about a comment from more than 5 months ago that you didn't like.

reply

[deleted]

Yes, just keep making a fool of yourself, lol!

Stratego: You could have stopped answering every single post a long time ago and been done with the whole silly thing.

Perhaps I could have, but I'm not the one who had a problem with people posting certain things. I think Moped should just have followed his own advice and stopped responding to me if he didn't like what I had to say. It's also a matter of principle, don't you find it more ridiculous that someone doesn't want people to discuss the things they don't like?

reply

[deleted]

Your responses are equally immature.

Says someone who cries because someone else doesn't like this show.

Please continue with how you hate this show. It's ever so fascinating. Don't ever stop.

Oh, no problem. I'm sure it's more entertaining than this horrible show.

reply

Wow, STRATEGO, it's OKAY. Stop wasting your time replying to EVERY DAMN COMMENT on here. Surely your life offers you better things to do with it, so please, GO. DO. It's sad to see someone just waste so much time and energy replying to every last thing said in her direction. Take the high road. PLEASE.

IT'S ONLY FUNNY ' TILL SOMEONE GETS HURT..........Then it's FREAKIN' HILARIOUS!!

reply

Then you are even more sad wasting my and your own time and energy replying to me. And be careful not to sprain your fingers by typing in all caps so much.

reply

I'm 30, with my own place, a full time job, the responsibilities of paying all my bills etc and yet I'm still growing up.
