Release SOTC on Blu-Ray, PLEASE!
I'm I the only one that wants this movie and all of Stephen King's other made for TV movies released on Blu-Ray?

What are you people talking about? SotC wasn't filmed in HD. It'll never be true HD. Who cares if it's released on BR?

It was shot on 35mm film, so it can certainly be made into a true HD Blu Ray. I'd love to see that happen.
The problem is that any special effects shots (composites, cgi, etc) were probably done in standard definition, just as with Star Trek: The Next Generation. So those shots would either have to be just upscaled (ie not true HD obviously), or redone completely. I'm not sure if there's enough demand for them to go through the trouble and expense. Be nice if they did though.
You're comparing a late 80s show composition to late 90s CGI?
Im willing to bet they were composited into film like most were in tthe 90s.
Also this is more of a movie/mini series , tng ran for 7 years
