The Lost Colony
In the movie they refer to the Roanoke Colony of Virginia. However, it was and is North Carolina, not even close to Virginia. You would think they would do a bit of simple research....DUHHH!

shareIt's been talked about OVER and OVER on the boards. It's quite simple. Roanoake colony was ORIGINALLY in Virginia, which at the time encompassed most of the southern US East coast. NOW it's located in North Carolina, but when Linoge visited them, it was still VA. (1587 was when they disappeared). He did more research than You did.

Even funnier that the question came from "teacher mom"! I feel sorry for her kids! So dumb.
shareTv writers aren't exactly known for their research skills. Why else do you suppose people keep thinking that we burnt the witches in Salem at the stake (we didn't. They were hung at Gallows Hill)?
shareYes, but in this case the t.v. writer (Stephen King) got it right.
