The Oracle Makes No Sense (Part N)

I have thought about the Oracle quite a lot.

She is basically an all-knowing entity, right? She knows what's going to happen in the future - the vase proved that.

So why doesn't she tell anyone about Cypher and Cypher's betrayal and grudge?

Why doesn't she tell Cypher something comforting?

Why doesn't she tell anyone about Trinity just lollygagging uselessly so Neo gets stuck in the Matrix and is forced to fight Agent Smith?

The Orcale could guide and 'help people find the path' without putting them in SO MUCH DANGER uselessly, but she decides to omit SUPER IMPORTANT things and yet people trust her? WHAT? WHY?

The Orcale ONLY makes sense if she is some kind of bad guy, an evil ORCHESTRATOR of pain, injury, death, murder and horror just so one guy could level up enough to fly.

It makes absolutely no sense from any other perspective. If she wanted to be helpful, she should DAMN WELL tell everyone about Cypher before they even go free him from The Matrix; she should tell everyone that Cypher is not a good guy, and won't be able to cope living in the real world, and being a jerk, coward and a psychopathic douche, will betray everyone (instead of negotiating a better life and more 'The Construct' (basically Holodeck) time for himself) sooner or later.

But nope, let's just let Mouse, Switch, Apoc (however you spell this, I am too tired to check) and who knows how many others get brutally murdered just so some Linux geek can learn how to fly and do nothing else useful besides sending a cryptic, nonsensical message to an unknown recipient at the end. I guess he did sort of kill one agent - great.

Why can't the Oracle teach everyone how to become 'the one'? Why can Neo learn and understand all that, and become 'digitally enlightened', but no one else can? Trinity and Morpheus can already jump very far and high without hurting themselves (but ONLY in very specific situations - not inside a lobby, though..), they're halfway there already. What's the problem?

This movie is just another forgettable action flick that enjoyed success because it poked the unwashed masses with low-level kitchen-philosphy amidst never-before-seen special effects and lots of energy at the time, plus some 'below-par-Kung-Fu by Hong Kong standards', with some copied ideas from better movies, like 'The Terminator'.

However, when you stop to think about almost any detail or explanation in this movie, it makes no sense.

The thing that bugs me the most about movies like this is that SO many things happen 'just so the movie can happen' instead of some in-Universe plausible reason, so nothing makes sense from the characters' perspective.

The worst thing is, I thought I had already pretty much exhausted all the things that don't make sense about this movie by writing gosh-darned many pages of text about it all, but every time I am exposed to this movie, I keep finding more.. I guess I am the exhausted one, the movie keeps pumping nonsense into my brain probably until I leave this planet.
