Having spent the last year watching golden age films, I find it unbearable this modern style of having to make a closeup of everything, and everything just being a back and forth from irrelevant frame to irrelevant frame. It's awful. This truly is NOT the best visual editing style.

Just rewatched Matrix after.. 15 years or so.

Direction and Editing is quite lacking, indeed. It also has like 20 / 30 minutes of pure filler.

You people are just now figuring this out? This film was crap for the non-thinking masses from the get go
