I felt it this way

Well..firstly, I would like to thank the people who filled in the earlier posts in this message board as it helped me go in the right direction in understanding this magnificent film....
The first two quotes....."We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time"
and "After the game is before the game" explains everything....whenever any case arrives before us...a problem or a situation...we always think of a solution for that...our mind tries to find the perfect solution...some may end up to a dead point...and may be one or two cases will have a positive outcome according to us....sp our mind alwys tries to reach that point...and once we reach tht point...we will be basically at the same old position...but we wouldn't be realizing it...coz the outcome has got us happy...
so thats wht lola was trying to do in this movie....and in between there are the concept of chaos theory et al...all brilliantly done...
waiting for The International....

I wish I felt the same. The movie to me proves you can ruin a perfectly good premise by having it painfully spelt out over and over again to german techno (!).

This central premise is drilled home be the heavy handed use of symbolism (yes, the spirals, we get it!), the completely unambiguous opening quotes and the dialogue, all of which leave nothing left for the audience. Can you honestly say that after act 1 you weren’t completely resigned to just watching it play out in its own inevitable fashion?
