There is an element of the supernatural to Lola

...the viewers should have realised this at first when she throws the telephone into the air and it lands perfectly in place. Then there's the supernatural screaming aswell, loud enough to shatter glass! Then she manages to defeat huuuuuge odds by "making" the roulette ball land on her number..............TWICE IN A ROW FFS!!!!!This can't be luck alone, therefore she must have controlled the ball using some sort of psychic powers like in Carrie.

Spooky.

Look, if a humane bing wants to get to the bottom of something like this where do they go?

Siskel and Eggbert?

No.

A college professor complete with bifocals and pipe?

Noooo!

You go to the goldfish! The goldfish true! The goldfish will know! All the goldfishies true know this stuff! Remember, "Go-to-the-goldfish."

Tell you what, I, Ludwig Van Goldfish, shall begin a new thread and explain all this stuff, okay?

Okay.

ITA with the OP, and yes that is her father (Twkyer stongly hints to this in the commentary)

Also in the commentary, he talks about a scene where Lola and her boyfriend talk to each other THROUGH the storefont glass, without raising their voices at all.

He said he meant this to show that the two had some sort of supernatural communication going on, and that he was suprised that most viewers didn't even notice it (like me on first viewing).

Awesome movie, haven't seen it in ages.
