Escapist fantasy. Jean-Luc Godard said that all you need to make a movie is a girl and a gun. In this exercise the girl and her boyfriend are having second thoughts about each other. Her relationship with Dad is stressed out beyond all possible comprehension. Her parents' marriage is stressed. How do we deal with these common life issues? Pull off the perfect crime, of course. This effort concludes successfully, but only after three tries, with certain variables altered, and an awful lot of running. I agree. This movie was poorly executed, and it didn't even have an original idea. Groundhog Day was the first thing that came to my mind when the 2nd scenario of the space-time thing started.

When a not-so-new concept is used, it better be well executed.
