The Security Guard

I just watched this movie last night for the first time, and I was a bit confused about the security guard. He appears in the introduction with the ball, and in all three scenarios he seems to have some sort of connection with Lola, particularly in the ambulance, when she takes the time to stay with him, despite the fact that she is so focused on helping Manni. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

in the first episode Lola learns that her Dad isn't her real dad. i asume that the security guard, without Lola knowing it, is her real dad. That would explaine the lifesaving connection in the third episode, as well as the good will of the guard of having as much of a conversation with her as possible.

I'm not convinced about this, it is possible that he is her dad but I don't think there's enough evidence in the movie to suggest this.

In the first version of the movie the Security guard witnesses a very harsh confession. He feels sorry for Lola and I feel this connection is "dragged" onto the other versions (just like Lola "remembers how to take the safe off the gun between versions).

Another possibility is simply that the Guard always knew Lola wasn't her bosses daughter and feels sorry for her.
