Did Lola kill him?

In the second scenario, when Manny is robbing the supermarket, a law officer has the drop on him, but Lola attacks him from behind and takes his weapon. She has the gun pointed at him, and when Manny tells her to release the safety and she does, she accidentally fires. So did the officer die or get lucky?

Second that. The guard wasn't shot and there were further shots of him looking up at her, and she down at him.

He didn't die, just probably suffered severe tinnitus as the bullet whizzed past his ear.

That was the first scenario and he survived. This is clearly shown. Did you watch the scene??
