Loved every minute of this mini-series.
It was beautifully filmed, acting all around was really good. Sets were great. Costumes were great.

Sam Neill was really good as Merlin. He and Isabella Rossellini were great together.

One thing that bothered me was the voice Helena Carter used for Queen Mab, you could not always hear it clearly. I had to use sub-titles at times, to get what she was saying.

In any case, it's fabulous watch.

I agree with your thoughts overall, but that wasn’t HBC as Queen Mab. That was Miranda Richardson. HBC was Morgan Le Fay.

Helena played both Queen Mab and Morgan. Miranda played the Lady in the Lake.

I’m afraid you’re mistaken. MR played both Mab and the Lady of the Lake. They’re meant to be sisters.

Not sure. I'm just looking at the IMDB credits. But it's not really important.
