A really great take on the same old legends

Just as I became aware of Authurian legends, this movie came out. Lucky for me, I had just finished reading Mary Stewart's Crystal Cave Series, which is a trilogy about the life of Merlin, and I was able to appreciate even more Merlin and his role in the legends. This wonderfully made movie brought Camelot to life for me and it has since become one of my favorite movies of all time. If you are a huge Arthurian legends buff and you cannot stand seeing anyone take liberties with Malory or any other classic, then don't watch this. The main adversary is Queen Mab, creator and destroyer of Merlin. But if you're into watching a beautiful movie with a good story and great actors and actresses, then by all means, enjoy.

I remember when this movie first came out. If i remember correctly, I really enjoyed it. I might have taped it. I should look for it, watch it again.

I saw this movie when the first played it on t.v. I was 11 at the time. I know watch this movie ever summer and I enjoy more and more every time. I just watched it last night and the effects are still good and the story is amazing.
