Anyone else agree that the Merlin score by Trevor Jones easily rivals such other epic scores as James Horner's Braveheart and Howard Shore's Lord of the Rings? I think it's a phenomenal score and it's one of the best album investments I've ever made. It's infinitely listenable.

shareThis topic is ridiculous. I thought Trevor Jones score for Dark City was interesting, too bad this is a wholesale ripoff of that one. Not to mention that one of the MAJOR themes for Dark City was ripped straight of the pages Stravinsky's Rite of Spring; but I was willing to give him that one as I assumed that the director forced him to match the temp tracking exactlly.
