If Nimue's face was burned by the dragon, and then Mab healed her, how come her face didn't become injured again when Mab disappeared? Did I miss something?
By the way, I'm no troll here... I completely adore this movie and I've just watched it once again. But that just struck me.
i think that Mab had played a part in making the scars as bad as they were. Mab's magic was behind the dragon, in other words.

But something that isn't explained. Why doesn't Frik get his powers back after Mab disappeared or was that something Mab just granted him and then took away?

I'm not sure but Frik was a Gnome....so he probably has natural 'magic' which remained after Mab died....
