Queen Mab Was Fascinating
Watching her costume changes, varying makeup applications, and especially the way her eyes change color in such starkly brilliant hues, had me utterly seduced and fascinated by film's end.

shareI liked the way this production tried to actually capture some sense of other-ness about the people of the "Old Way" - the art design, the direction, the way the faeries moved, it all added up to some pleasing strangeness in the story.
Unfortunately it was undercut by the repeated attempts at corny slapstick "humour", especially around Martin Short's character Frick, but it was still a nice attempt.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
Definitely, Queen Mab was a complex and stunning character. I really like Miranda Richardson's portrayal of her.
