wouldnt u just think it was a prank call??

seriously if someone called your phone and said they were from a radio station and u would win a trip to the bahamas for answering a question correctly wouldnt u just be like "yeah right" and hang up?? the way the girls reacted was very unrealistic. think about it. it was a dumb moment and nobody in their right mind would act like that.

insanity,
I think it was realistic. Radio stations do call. Tv shows do too( kelly ripa's show for example).

Well u know back in those days radio stations used to do stuff like that but it's not that dumb since they actually paid for the trip and everything

it was real

I have to return some video tapes.

What I found odd was how they figured the radio station got their name and number in the first place. I doubt they were in the phone book. Not everyone is and with Julie's trust and paranoia I doubt they would be.

And actually she did say her number was unlisted now that I think about it

I can tell you from experience a lot of people would not think it was a prank, I know cos me and my mates used to always do loads of prank calls to people[both people we knew by name and random strange numbers] pretending to be the radio and doing quizzes and 9 out of ten times people would fall for it and be all excited when they 'won'. A lot of the time we'd say we were picking random numbers outa the phonebook, people rarely[if ever] would question you. Other times we'd ring people pretending to be the fone company or cops accusing them of doing prank phonecalls and we did loads of other stuff which people would fall for... Bottom line is that if you are convincing and play it well it's very easy to pull a prank and trick people over a phone. Once I even had my friends think they win 20,000 on a fone competition!
