the music totally ruined this film for me.

i kind of liked the film but the music was terrible. this is how not to score a film. that blur man was in his gorrilas bongo africa music phase. and it didnt work. shame. nice idea for a film but it should have got much darker and it could have been a great film.

I loved the music. When Colhoun is telling his story it was incredibly effective.

I think the score is brilliant, I even bought it on CD after seeing the movie.

yep, the score is one of the things that makes this movie

I also bought the soundtrack and every time I listen to it, I can "watch" the whole movie all over again just by listening. It fits the movie so well, the music is enough to recreate every scene for me. Sorry you didn't enjoy it, and I hope you will give the movie a second viewing because it is brilliant.

Best score I've ever heard in any movie.

These are some movies of mine. Enjoy!

Music made the film feel like a black comedy whereas the director intended it to be dark horror..Quite the spoiler..

It makes sense when you guys mentioned that it was a dark comedy. Seemed like it was a dark horror for a while but when the banjo song kicked in, it shifted into a dark comedy. I didn't like the soundtrack but after reading these posts I appreciate it more.

Whereas for me, it's the perfect way to score a film. The score is pretty easily my #1 of all time.
