Will I like this movie?

The question is actually quite simple: Do you think I'll like this movie?

I sort of have a tendency to "fall upon an actor" and dig into their work. Often it gives me some really unexpected, but delightful movie experiences.

Right now I'm watching Robert Carlyle, and I came across this movie. I haven't been an actual horror fan since I was a teenager, but I love dark humour. And I also usually love movies where they combine a lot of violence and gore with a touch of humour to it. Like i.e. Desperado and The Tournament.

Very realistically made injuries like in i.e. "The Impossible" and various war dramas, however, tend to make me feel sick and faint.

So should I consider Ravenous?

Never mind the question. I found the full movie on YouTube and decided to give it a shot - after all I could turn it off if I didn't like it.

It wasn't quite what I expected. From reviews etc. I'd honestly expected more gore and also a bit more humour. But overall I liked the movie. The acting was good, and the movie definetely had some very funny and memorable moments and some hilarious lines along the way.

I haven't quite decided yet if this is one for the dvd collection - I'm probably going to have to watch it again to decide - but I definetely enjoyed it, and I only had difficulties with one scene; the one where Boyd is in that hole with an open leg fracture and puts the leg in place on his own. That one made my stomach turn, but otherwise I didn't find the movie particularly hard to watch in terms of blood and gore.
