Could a long term sucessful cannibal be immortal?

Re watched this movie on netflix, funny times! Keep wondering if they could have expanded the mythos in a sequel? Following the logic of the movie a lifetime cannibal would be waaaayyyyy stronger and resistant then carlyle and pearce, they were already almost healing like wolverine and immune to diseases. Plus would a life time cannibal would live longer? Could one keep living as long has he eat human meat?

It is implied that he would indeed.

However it would be a live enslaved to the hunger of human flesh. Not much different from an animal.

I think it is strongly implied in the movie that as a Wendigo you'll not only become stronger and have better health, you'll also live longer. But immortality? Well, perhaps if you don't get killed. 
