Now when Jackie Chan is arrested by those African Dudes who blame him as being a terrorist, are they the good guys speculating something on Jackie or are they bad guys. Furthermore why are the bad guys wanting to kill JAckie or shall i say why are they killing everyone in the choper. Its very unclear
shareThe "African dudes" are normal Police who believe JC is mixed up in something illegal, they are not really bad guys. Although from JC's character point of view they probably are!
The main plot bad guys want everyone dead in the chopper because they were involved in hijacking this experiment with the virus / explosive power thing (whatever it is!) and therefore could be "witnesses" to the wrong doing of the "bad guys". So basically it's an eliminate all witnesses plan that goes slightly t*** up because JC's character survives.

thanks for the reply mate but the thing that makes it very unclear is that apparently when the story does start Jackie is in this flashy building crossing a bridge etc which i believe are the headquarters of the bad guys. However the African police officers when they arrest JC take him to the same building. So thats what makes me wonder who they are
shareOk, that bit. Well the African Police are genuine, they are investigating the missing scientists, etc. They have found all the duplicate passports of the "terrorists" involved. One of those being JC's character, so when he is spotted in the Police Station he's caught. They presumably (although it's not really explained) take him to that warehouse to try and jog his memory, as part of the interrogation. Not sure if that's normal practice!!!! But hey, it's a movie, lot's of things are done in the movies for dramatic effect rather than realism! I have to admit, some edits of the movie are more confusing than others. I have seen at least three different versions of the film. My favourite is the one where they build the story completely from flashback, although it was a bit confusing the first time I watched it!
