A question about the She-ra first season set that will be released later

I heard the set of the best She-ra episodes will include the Secret of the sword movie, which is the first 5 episodes. Will the first half of the first season box set ,that will be released later in the fall, have those first 5 episodes too?

reply

Yes, they will be in their seperate form on the box set.

reply

Excellent! Thanks!

So will the release on the "Best of" DVD be the full feature movie shown in the theaters (including the I Have The Power opening theme song) or will it be separated into 5 episodes like they did when they showed it on TV?

reply

No, the "Best-Of" will have the theatrical version (with the "I have the power" song). There will also be 5 of the "best" episodes included.

I also seem to remember that when they showed the Theatrical Version on TV in 5 episodes that they added a few extra scenes. (or they cut them out to make the movie shorter). I'm guessing when the 1st season (or 1st part of the 1st season) is released that they may do the 5 episode intro.

reply

The theatrical version is just the first 5 episodes edited down into a movie. So when S1V1 is released we'll have the full versions of the episodes. Also, the first two episodes of She-Ra had a different intro than the rest of the series (this was before it was revealed Adora was She-Ra).

reply

I remember that different intro....I guess they didn't want to spoil it for those who hadn't seen the movie.

At least the movie version and Season 1 versions are slightly different...so I won't feel so bad now when I purchase both!

You can watch the alternate intro here.
