Like it began with Secret of the Sword...it should have ended with a movie...(or a 5 part mini-series to show on TV)...where She-Ra and He-Man team up once more and free Etheria from the Horde and Adora returns to Eternia once and for all.
How did She-Ra end? My sisters and I watched it when we were young, but I don't recall how they ended the series. I'm sure they didn't have She-Ra actually free Etheria from the Horde.
There wasn't an ending to the show, it just stopped. But I agree, a movie tying it all up would have been awesome. She-Ra beats the Horde, He-Man beats Skeletor, and She-ra finally gets reunited with her family for good. Happy endings for everyone!
Abraham Lincoln once said, "If you are racist, I will attack you with The North."
Yeah...I guess we can't always get what we want. Freeing Etheria from the Evil Horde was the ultimate goal. I never really thought about it as a kid, but She-Ra's circumstances were a whole lot more dire than He-Man's. Eternia was in a time of peace. Skeletor would ocassionally try to disrupt that peace (and fail miserably), but Hordak rules Etheria, and the members of the Great Rebellion were the ones trying to disrupt that balance. Reuinting with her family would have been a wonderful conclusion...but could Adora truly cut ties with her friends and allies, even after absolute victory was gained? I don't know...!
Someone needs to write a good fanfic about that...
Here is how I see it. They should have had a big movie where Skeletor and all his goons who hide in Snake Mountain were forced to transport themselves to Hordak's fright zone becuase of how He-man and King Randor finally defeated them and destroyed their hideout. Then have it to where after there was total Peace on Eternia have it to where Randor and Adam wonder how Adora is doing and Adam recieves a telepathic message from the Sorceress telling him that now since Skeletor and Hordak have joined forces again with the help of Horde Prime that what needs to be done is get He-Man and She-Ra together with the backup of the huge army of King Randor and even have Queen Marlena fly her spacecraft known as the Rainbow Warrior into battle and then do such a big attack on the Horde that it levels the Fright Zone and the combination of all those warriors of both planets are too much and then the man who is the rider of the cosmic spacewaves shows up and places Hordak and Skeletor into another world that they can not escape from and also puts Horde Prime in another place that he can not use any of his powers to escape from. Then have it showing at the end when all the villians are no more that He-man and She-Ra ask King Randor and his wife to come into a secret hiding place with them and they then reveal their secrets to their parents since there would be no more war on either planet.
Yes that would have been a great ending to the series but I am not surprised. Look how VR Troopers ended. It ended without them ever fining out Grimlord's idendity. Its a shame when a show ends with no resolution.
i can't imagine adora leaving for eternia even if she achieved peace. i imagine she achieved a high position of power like captin of the guard for example as queen angella was the queen of the land...as memory serves. or glimmer could have been killed and Adora went on to assume the throne later on. i imagine she still saw her brother but i got the impression if she lived in eternia she may be bored
You can thank Mattel for pulling the plug on both MOTU and POP back in the 80's. Yes, they pulled the plug on the 200X series once again before things could have gotten really good. They were going to bring in She-Ra for the third season.
It definitely is a shame that a show gets discontinued before we ever find out what really happened. There were talks of a show called "Powers of Grayskull" which would feature both He-Man and She-Ra battling their respected enemies. They would have also fought King Hiss as well supposedly. But that never came to light.
